Does one ever think about really rare blackjack hands? There are the obvious hands – everyone thinks about getting that 10 value card when the dealer deals you that first card. And of course after that you beg (in your mind) to get that other card that will fulfill your wishes to be strong against the dealer.
But leave those hands alone, there are rare times when weird hands become a rush of adrenaline and boost up your blood pressure making weird to comprehend but it’s kindyour heart race and your hands sweat. It’s of like getting a pair in Texas poker and the exact same pair in the flop. Boy that is a rush and there is nothing like that. So you have 2 cards with a value of an 8…you think to yourself what do I need to get a 21? Various options. You “hit” again! And you get a 5! You think to yourself ok I got 17. Pretty good hand to call with…but again say the dealer has a 10, what is one to do? Most would not hit, what are the chances another 4 comes up? Say you feel like gambling so you “hit” and another 4 comes along placing you at 21! Go home have a glass of whisky on ice…doesn’t it feel good to win with a rare hand?
